Can anyone help me figure out the correct HTML coding (and where in my template it should go) to increase the amount of white space between the timestamp/comment line and the title of the post below it? This is bugging me, I've tried increasing the margins that are in the template, but I can't find the right one for the space that I want to change.

<br /> will create an extra line of space after anything you put it next to. Can't help you with Blogger templates though.

Did you get the Oatmeal bread recipe?

Sir Robin: yes, I did, thank you! I will be making some on Sunday.

Ms. Maurinsky,

I was just coming over to thank you for your honest and lovely comments on my blog -- and wow! --it's cool to see my blog under your "favorites."

I'm looking forward to trading comments with you --

and funnily enough, I've just put some oatmeal bread on to rise! I've already made it twice in the past week -- we are bread nuts -- but this time I added half spelt flour to the flour total. I will report back on my results. (I'm afraid I can't follow a recipe to save my life!)

BTW, you might be interested to know that my husband can probably see Eton from his office! And one more thing: I liked your "family in England" pictures. Stonehenge is not too far from us. I still find it shocking to drive up the road -- and then suddenly it's THERE. Those iconic, mysterious shapes. So familiar; so strange.

P.S. Sorry -- but I'm useless myself with HMTL thing.

Bee - the first time I saw Stonehenge, it came as a huge shock to me - if Stonehenge were in the U.S., for miles around, everything would be Stonehenge. Stonehenge Pizza, Stonehenge Dry Cleaners, Stonehenge Pharmacy...probaly a bar called The Henge.

Instead, it's sheep, sheep, sheep, sheep, STONHENGE, sheep, sheep, sheep.

excuse my typos, I have a massive papercut on my right index finger and the bandage is slightly too big.

Hi Maureen, your template/stylesheet look a bit muddled to me but if you can find a line that reads...
<div class='post hentry'>
and change it to read...
<div class='post hentry' style='margin-bottom: 10px;'>
it ought to give you a 10 pixel gap after your byline.
Obv you can change 10px to any amount your comfortable with...

If that doesn't work feel free to email me the whole and I'll try and figure it out...

"email me the whole" should read "email me the whole template (html)"
